Salt printing is a hand-made historical alternative photographic process. First developed in the mid 1830’s, the process involves applying multiple coatings to suitable paper by hand. Once dried the paper becomes sensitive to ultraviolet light. Because of the handmade nature of the process, each print is unique work with it’s own unique fingerprint.
